The Cstar Optics GO-6450 compact refractor telescope has a special optical system that extends the total focal length to 900mm, greatly increasing the magnification of objects in the night sky--twice the magnification of other telescopes its size.Specially engineered optics gives a clear image at an affordable price. Multi-coated glass lenses deliver low color aberration. The optics are encased in a seamless aluminum alloy tube, which includes a 5x optical finder scope for low-power scanning. An aluminum yoke mount allows for tiny vertical adjustments.
The telescope comes with a pre-assembled 4-tier aluminum tripod with user-adjustable vertical elevation for more comfortable viewing. The whole kit packs up easily with the included "sponge" padded nylon case and carrying strap. It also comes with a star finder CD-ROM.

The sky truly is the limit with the CCD-1 digital color eyepiece for telescopes from Cstar. If you're looking for a way to capture and save your favorite images from the heavens, then you've found the right product. This eyepiece is easy to connect to most any telescope. Once attached, it automatically turns the normally up-side-down, reversed image into a regular image just like you would see with your own eyes, only magnified. The .3 megapixel CCD (charge-coupled device) digital eye-piece delivers high image quality and remarkable detail at an affordable price. Cstar does not stop there, the CCD-1 also allows you to see a video stream on your computer while using the high magnification of your telescope.While you view the real-time video footage of your favorite celestial bodies, snap a still by pressing the shutter button. In order to minimize vibrations that could disturb the image while taking a photo, Cstar has placed the snap shot button on a cord coming out of the digital eye-piece. Once you've set up the eye-piece and your telescope, you can turn your attention to your computer monitor so you don't miss any of the heavenly attractions. No longer will you be bent over your telescope, squinting with one eye -- the CCD-1 will make you feel like more than just an amateur astronomer.
The eye-piece comes with an easy-to-install driver. Once your computer is set up and you've connected the CCD-1 to your computer by way of the included USB cable, you'll be ready to snap and store images on your hard drive. The eyepiece sends photo data from the CCD module to your computer. Once stored, you can use photo editing software to make changes or edit the photo. Digitally place aliens or spaceships for humorous images, or simply use the CCD-1 to capture and store your favorite shots of the great beyond. Regardless of your intent, this eyepiece is an excellent accessory for any stargazer.

Get right into the action from far away with the Cstar S-826 20 to 60 x 80 spotting scope. Optically engineered to deliver a clear image, you'll be impressed with the S-826's bright, sharp image with no blurry edges. Constructed of aluminum alloy, the scope's tube is lightweight and durable. The multi-coated lens allows for great light transmission with low color aberration, giving super clarity and high resolution.The included steel, table-top tripod is very stable and durable. The tripod mount is a universal camera mount that allows use with the S-826 as well as other spotting scope and camera brands.
The Cstar S-826 features an adjustable 20 to 60x magnification and a large, 80-millimeter objective lens diameter, giving the scope an exit pupil size of 4-1.3 millimeters, depending on magnification. A 20x magnification setting on this scope makes the image appear twenty times larger than with the eye alone with an exit pupil of four millimeters. In other words, objects at 100 yards appear to be only five yards away through a 20x scope and the S-826 would work great at this magnification in fair light. At the 60x magnification setting, this scope would make the target appear sixty times larger than with the eye alone and the exit pupil would be reduced to 1.3 millimeters. The Cstar S-826 is a full-sized scope with an adjustable magnification and exit pupil, making it an excellent choice for fair light targeting as well as long distance targeting in full light.
About Exit Pupil Size The size of the exit pupil for a spotting scope is determined by dividing the objective lens diameter by the magnification rating. The human eye pupil diameter ranges from 2 to 7 millimeters, depending on the amount of light. For proper light gathering potential, the diameter of the scope's exit pupil must be equal to or greater than the diameter of your eye pupil at the light level you will be using the scope. If you're working in low light, your exit pupil size will be of greater importance. With an adjustable 4-1.3 millimeter exit pupil, the Cstar S-826 20 to 60 x 80 spotting scope is an excellent choice in fair light or long-distance scoping in full light.
