Holga
The Holga camera was initially introduced to the Chinese public in 1982 as an inexpensive camera for everyday use. Shortly after its introduction, it became an underground artistic phenomena. Using the Holga is an exercise in breaking free from dependence on technology, precision and controllability. The slight softness of the images, vignetting and random light leaks produce dream-like, one-of-a kind images. In 2005, Holga went in to limited production of two 35mm Holga models, which sold out quickly and became collector's items. Encouraged by the success of these cameras, Holga create three new versions of the Holga 35mm models. The Holga 135BC is a standard 35mm camera with similar features to the Holga 120N. To achieve more of the Holga's trademark vignetting, the Holga 135BC has bent corners that renders the Holga's retro vignetting in every image -
Blackbird
The Blackbird, fly is a twin-lens reflex camera: one lens is used to expose the film, while the other is used like a viewfinder. It's a famous style of camera whose history stretches back to the 1920s. The Blackbird fly uses 35mm film. There are two ways to take a picture with the Blackbird fly. For quiet and reflective framing, you can hold the camera at waist level and look down, to compose your shot using the finder lens. For a quicker style of shot, you can use the sportsfinder, which approximates a viewfinder through a notch in the top of the camera. The Blackbird fly can take pictures in standard 35mm film format (24x36), but using a different (provided) mask, it can also produce square format pictures (24x24). You can even remove the mask entirely and make a larger square format image (36x36), which fills up the entire width of the 35mm film, including the side sprocket holes. For shooting during the day, you can alternate between apertures f/7 and f/11, with a shutter speed of 1/125. At night, you can switch the shutter to B-mode to let in as much light as you might need, or you can also attach a flash for even more possibilities. Variable focusing, from 0.8 meters, makes for a sharp subject. The Blackbird fly uses a wide-angle 33mm lens and also allows you to take multiple exposures on the same frame. -

Diana+ Splitzer Multiple image slicing accessory for the Diana+ & Diana F+ cameras With a Diana+ in hand, it's nice to take a straight-off, one-shot image of your favorite person, animal, or thing. But what about going past that large, single full-frame? How about diving into halves and quarters? What about dictating exactly what appears on your photo and exactly where it appears? Take that image in front of your face and slice it straight down the middle. Slap it onto the right side of your image, and then take a breath. What do you want on the left? That's the beauty the choice is yours! You no longer just take the shots, you "call" them too! Using the Splitzer is easy! Slip it onto the top of your Diana+ or Diana F+ lens and twist the blades with your fingers. All you have to do is keep track of what parts of the image you've shot. OR NOT: we often like to just move the blades around a bit haphazardly to see what comes out later on. By slicing and dicing your photos, you can re-combine them to make something entirely new. Or tell a story. Or just do something totally random and insane in the hopes that the result is cool and pleasing. Don't worry it probably will be, but you might want to shoot it a few times to be sure. With the Splizter, you'll never look at a Diana+ image as a single whole again. Instead, you'll truly see it as the "sum of its parts" which are happily decided upon and placed by you. Certain parts of certain i -
