Gravity Works
The Film Washer is made of clear acrylic plastic and is designed to give you an archival film wash in just five minutes. The unique fill and dump system is not only fast, it is efficient. Just five gallons of water are needed to complete the thorough wash job. More traditional methods may take thirty minutes and thirty or more gallons of water. This film washer is also very versatile. You can wash either roll film or sheet film. With the optional film basket you can wash up to twelve sheets of 4" x 5" film at one time. The Film Washer's fill & dump design completely exchanges the water one time per minute, bathing the film in fresh water every exchange. Capacity 35mm Film - 6 Rolls. 120 Format Film - 4 Rolls. 4" x 5" Film - 6 Sheets. 5" x 7" Film - 6 Sheets

Complete washing of your film is as essential as proper development. This Film Washer will gently wash your negatives to archival standards. It differs greatly from conventional overflow washers which bring in water from the bottom and the contaminated water eventually overflows at the top. The AQUA/ VAC also fills from the bottom, but quickly and automatically empties from the bottom by vacuum syphon-action, which discharges all contaminated water 2-3 times a minute. The AQUA/VAC protects your film from abrasions caused by high turbulence and unwinding of the reel which is typical in conventional washers.
